changing water pump

Hey, my water pump is shot. What do I have to remove to take the pump out? I have both fans and the serp belt out what else do I need to do to make this quicker. I have and 89 4.0 with a 5speed if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

The only other thing I can think of is the thermostat housing.And replace the T,stat with a new factory unit.
Might be good time to replace rad hoses too.

Im pretty sure that you need to take the power steering bracket off.

I would also pull the rad and clean out the bugs and stuff between the rad and the ac condenser, easy now that you have it all apart. Tooth picks and pipecleaners work well for really cleaning that stuff out from between the fins.
