Dynatrac HP d44 Housing?

Anyone know what housing they use? Is it custom? I need to find an axle breather tube for it.

Also, anyone know how the plastic hp d30 breather tube thing is attached? Is it screwed in, pressed in etc?

I know the plastic breather tube on my D44 was just pressed in. I had to pry it out with a screwdriver. I then threaded it with a 1/8" pipe thread, and didn' thave to drill it out. Then I found a brass 90 with that thread. Works great! Just be careful not to get shavings inside the diff.

I believe that Dynatrac builds their stuff from scratch, i.e., that they are authorized to actually manufacture these axles. You'll need to call Dynatrac to find out what you need.

Can I just plug it and drive around till I find something or will pressure built up and shoot the plug out?
