anyone know of other axle shafts that can replace these? with possible bolt pattern 5 on 5.5?thanks

They make badazz alloy shafts any way you like 'em.

I ran Dutchman alloys in my 8.25 in 5 on 5.5 mode. I assume if you need alloys you are also thinking disc brakes, so you have to make sure the discs will fit with a 5 on 5.5 flange.
