front shock mounts

does anyone run a converted shock mount to get rid of the stock setup. does this allow more flex? is it worth the purchase? also, does anyone run this with a 6.5"-7" lift, and how long compressed and extended are your shocks...?

I made top and bottom mount adaptors so I could run standard 5/8" hole mount shocks. It doesn't change anything as far as flex or performance goes. It just allows you to use different shocks. I'd post pictures of them if I knew how.
