Solid winch mounts and extraction points should be the most important. Search - I've seen atleast three or four threads in the past week about front bumper design.

A solid mounting system. Many of the bumpers I have seen lack in a big way! need to use more than the 3 factory mount holes. The bumper we are selling now mounts with 12 bolts. SOLID! Also includes a steering box support. Somewhere on the list is high clearance. Many of the xj bumpers I have seen stick out 10 to 12 inches! Aproach angle? What?
