guys i searched everywhere for Chrysler 8.25 27 spline c-clips , all i can find are c-clips for 29 spline , mostly yukon YUK-YSPCC-010 but they mentioned that they are not compatible with 27 spline axle shafts.
anyone can link me to the correct ones i need?
thank you

Try different search terms, "axle shaft retainer". Jeep calls it "lock drive shaft" and only has one number 2852 883 for the 27 and the 29.

http://www.morris4x4center.com/jeep-parts-catalogs/universal/1994-1996-Jeep-Parts-Catalog.pdf Check figure 3-120 item 33 and figure 3-120 item 1 bottom of the list.

The year/model of your XJ may be helpful.

Morris 4X4 says their C-clip will fit multiple axles, all Chrysler 8.25, some Fords and some Chevies.

Where does it say they are not compatible? Here https://www.yukongear.com/productdetails.aspx?ProdID=8527 it lists the applications. Shafts, carriers, side gears, and center pins are different between 27 and 29 spline. Axle bearings, seals, gears, c-clips, and housings are interchangeable. Have you damaged or misplaced yours? They are not typically replaced during a normal rebuild.

At rockauto.com it mentions for 29 spline only.
I have a play I my rear tire when I force it in and out and it's around 4mm play.
I already have the Yukon C clips but I'm afraid to place them.

While that seems a little excessive, it's not unheard of. The center pin may also have a lot of wear. They both play a role in end play!

I still in brake period for the new 8.25 diff full rebuild with new Arb center pin also. But i swapped 2 Used axle Shafts Coz Mine Were Worn Ans I Had this play on Them Since Day 1 Especially the Right Side one. I Have the 29 Spl C clips But I Was Afraid They willL fall If they Are Bigger than The 27 ones.

The side gears and thrust washers also affect the end play!
