Dose anybody know how many inches from center to lock the wheels turn on a d30. Getting ready to do hydro assist. Need to know if I need 6 inch or 8 inch ram thanks

Yep 6. But if plan on an axle swap down the road that requires an 8, buy the 8 and put a spacer on it to limit the throw
 
I was really hoping when I came in here that someone had used a D30 to make a swing for the front porch. Like sit on the tubes and have a chain run all the way through where the axle shafts would be or maybe hung from the knuckles.
