tube seals

Hi I installed some tube seals on my 99 jeep xj like 2 weeks ago and today I noticed my passenger side is leaking. Was I suppose to put some silicone on them?
Can I take them out and used the same ones again.

What exactly do you mean when you say "tube seals"?

My inner seals for my dana 30.
Sorry should of been more specific.

You shouldn't need silicone. There's a possibility that what you see leaking now is residual from before you swapped the seals. I would give it a few days.

I cleaned the axle with a rag inside before I installed them.
And the oil looks like fresh oil.

Did you grease the inner ring? Clean the shafts and grease them up? The shaft floats on a film of oil and if its dry or pitted it will burn through the rubber

I think I found the reason it's leaking. I forgot I tool the axle tubes out to take off my disk shield and I didn't drain the gear oil :doh:
