Coils to complement OME-CS033RBs.

Need new springs, found nothing but good things about the OME leafs, need a set of coils for the front to complement. Its a 2000, mostly stock, auto, 242. BFG AT 31s. Existing leafs are broken, the coils may as well be, riding on bumpstops half the time. Just put in some JK shocks(thanks ebay), ZJ tierods, and a high pinion axle in the front.

Was looking at rustys 3" HDs.


I just want to drive on something that's not a road....

Metal cloak TJ front coils, progressive, large amount of travel. They have 3.5" and 5.5" lift, which would be 2.5" and 4.5" on an XJ

Or deaver progressive front coils

Budget is tight, just got rustys. There in. Now just wondering about the bushings(for the leafs), is there a big difference between a 45 dollar set from local auto parts and whatever else is out there? Do I just press them in at home in a vice with some grease?

P.s. got ome leafs from quadratech about 320 shipped, arrived here in three days.

anyone know where i can find the bolts for the leaf bushings?

really a single place to get the bushings(going with rubber) ubolts, and the bushing bolts would be great.

some grease can break down rubber, silicone spray is safe IIRC

The bushings and u-bolts are available from many places.
Try Quadratec for the u-bolts and bushings.

got eye bolts from the dealer for $7 each. Ordered bushings from quadratech. The Ubolts im confused about, the 8.25 has a 3" od, so i need ubolts with 3"id. Could not find those locally. The ones in the link just above say 3.55" in the description... I think im just going to find a place to make those locally unless someone has better suggestions.
