Motor mount frame bracket help

I'm building a Jeepspeed class 1700 XJ.
The body came with a 2.8 and I'll be running a 4.0
My question is; are the motor mount frame brackets the same and are the
studs and holes in the frame in the same location?

Don't know for sure, but no reason to think they are the same.

'87+ 4.0 XJ's are cheap, it's not worth it to build the '86 and swap everything over. Mounts are different, core support is different, wiring is different. Too much (unnecessary) work to put a 4.0 in it.

The engine bay and core support were redesigned for the 4.0 ... bet it would get ugly fast.
