Is ABS standard on a 2000 Cherokee or is it an installed option. I can't seem to find the answer in the Service Manual and unless I'm missing something, my 2000 doesn't seem to have ABS.
Thanks,
Bill

Starting in 1989, ABS was optional on all Cherokees.

You can check for ABS without even opening the hood on the later models... check the rear diff... if youve got a d35, youve also got ABS. They didnt make ABS 8.25's.

Not all 2000s have ABS, mine doesn't. It also has an 8.25 :D

If you really need a pic of the difference I can take comparison shots under the hood of my Jeep and my girlfriend's Jeep. The ABS crap is huge.

ABS was OPTIONAL.

If you have ABS you have a D35. If you do not have ABS, you could have either Chry 8.25, or a D35.
