I have an 1986 Cherokee lerado with selec trac and my Dana 35 front axle has cv boots is that stock?

Yes, pre97 had CVs in the front axle. Would be a D30 front tho.
False, 84-86 had them, hafter that XJ's had ujoint shafts, some ZJ's came with cv shafts
