For those of you that have replaced the seal in your disco actuated axle, how did you do it? What tool do you use or improvise to get the job done? Can you provide specifics?
I've got the old seal out and am trying to seat the new seal. I tried to improvise a tool using PVC cap ends and a threaded rod to pull the seal into place (from the axle end). However, the new seal ends up going in cockeyed. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm at the limit if my frustration point.
And, before anyone suggests so, I do not want to replace the disco with a cable system.
