A friend has some 7.5" coils - front and back - for a TJ. Will they fit on my '01 XJ?

*NOTE* Sorry if I posted in the wrong section!

"Some" is an understatement.

Cherokees are for children. Grown ups save and get wranglers. Im tired of being childish.

I always heard front TJ springs will give you one inch less than their advertised height when used on an XJ. (3" TJ = 2" XJ)

Not sure what the spring rate differences are.

Yep, took that into account - planning on doing a rear coil spring conversion. Got some info from Google and other Naxja peeps.

The rear is going to be super high with 7.5" springs. Dustin is talking about using the tj springs in the front and with the weight of the motor sagging the spring an inch less. Also where you would mount those springs in the rear is a lot lower then where they mount for the front. I bet you will be 9-10" of lift
