quick question...

im swapping in another D30 and with every thing out from underneath the jeep im wanting to properly set my bump stops since i can easily cycle the suspension without springs. are the shocks, control arms, track bar, and tires all thats needed or should i hook up the steering as well? my thought is no... and not having it on there would let me easily check each tire from lock to lock by turning the tire by hand....

correct? completely wrong?

I'd hook up the steering as well. It wouldn't do much good to set the bumpstops to stop travel an inch after the steering binds up. Just have someone help you by turning the steering wheel.
