Dont know about any numbers, but you can physically compare it to a carrier(3.55 and dn).The ring gear mounting height from the driver side bearing is about 1/4" higher.

If you have info on the TJ it came from you may be able to confirm it to this info. As you can see the 3.73 are the most common in TJs.
3.07 - 1997-2006
* Standard ratio used with 6 cyl models except the Rubicon

3.55 - 1997 only
* Optional ratio used with 6 cyl manual only

3.73 - 1998-2006
* Optional ratio used with 6 cyl manual and automatic except the Rubicon
* Standard ratio used with most 4 cyl automatics
* Standard ratio used with 4 cyl 6 speed
* Standard ratio used with Dana 44 rear axle except the Rubicon

4.10 - 1997-2006
* Standard ratio used with 4 cyl 5 speed manual
* Standard ratio used with Rubicon

nah, i dont know anything about the wrangler. im just trying to comfirm this is an actual dana part and for the 3.73 up gears. its giong to be awhile before i actually regear so i need to make sure this is right.

dang it!! thats not what i want to hear. so does anybody have one with the number 32910 on it? and knows for sure its for the 3.73 and up?

i pulled mine appart to check it and it has a number 32932 and i think 6176 on it. this is a 1996 with 3.07 gears. couldnt tell any real differences since it was still in the housing.

ok the only thing i can find dimension wise is from http://www.the-jeep-guy.com/axle_&_differential.htm it says 1.810" for 3.54 and down and 1.943" for 3.73 and up. it does not tell where to measure this from but the only thing that should change is ring gear posision form the end. see image below for how i measured. mine measures 1.950" so im pretty sure it really is for the 3.73 and up. can anybody confirm this for me?
