8.25 traxlock no slpi problem Help Please!!

So my locker quit working took off the cover and removed the cross shaft but I can't get the c clip out the gears off the locker aren't meshing together enough for the c clip to come out. Anyone had this problem or have any Ideas??? TIA

Push the axle in. Also the gear lube may be holding up the movement,spray some cleaner in there to break down the viscosity of the remaining lube.May gain some clearance that way.

Did you clearance the c-clips when you installed the locker?

Yup did both found a toothe lodged in between the gears got it out but still won't line up.
