Are all 8.8 ring and pinions the same?

I am doing an 8.8 swap, and Im looking to put in 4.10 gears. I got a 3.73 rear end really cheap So I am just going to swap in some new gears. I have found a deal on a set, but they were bought to go in a mustang. Would they work in the explorer rear end? or are they different?
