Hi all I have decided to replace my shocks after running the dusy trail this year its about time. Anyway should the valving be different front to rear or should they be the same? i plan on going with bilsteins 5100s the valving for the front would be 255/70 and the rear 170/60. With the leafs in the back
should the valving be softer?

Should be harder in the front as coils have no friction to stop the oscillations like the leafs do.

I heard some where that the 255/70 are for single shock applaction and the 170/60 are for the dual shock setup. I got the 5150s 255/70 12" travel all around and it rides great. Make sure of your measurements before you order, I had to do some cutting and welding to get them the way I like.
