Installing the steering box

so i got my new steering box, and i hooked the hoses up to it after takin the other out. i cant get it lined up with the steering shaft or the bolt holes on the frame, its a good 3 inches off and i cant see how im gonna get it that far with the way all the hoses are and how stiff they all are, i feel like im gonna break something forcing it. is there something im missing? is there an easier way to hook it up, order wise? should it be this hard to line up due to stuff in the way and hose stiffness? any help id love cuz the jeep sits in my driveway in shambles

Don't know what to say, I hooked up the hoses after it was bolted on the frame. It was really easy and had no problems.
