Yet another question about shims....

I just put in my RE superflex 3.5 with full leaf pack on my '97 XJ. I was advised to install the xfer case drop kit to avoid vibration. I installed everything and I now get vibration ONLY when accelerating. According to the RE instructions this means I need to install shims. My question is what degree do I use or how do I figure this out. Also, my XJ now sits higher in back than in front. Whats the best way to level it out? Any help would be great! Thanks!!

you probly need 3* or 4* shims since you only have a transfer case drop and no SYE. when i had my RE6130 (4.5") kit and a t-case drop i had 6* shim until i got my SYE and CV shaft now i have a 2.5* shim.

wait for the rear springs to settle... it will sit level in a week or so.
