I know Jeeps make noises, but still...
I have a weird slurping sound coming from (I think) the automatic transmission. The noise is not there when I am driving, but starts as soon as I stop the car and keep the brakes engaged with the transmission in "D", e.g. if I stop for a traffic light.
As soon as I switch the transmission to "N" (with the brakes still engaged), the noise disappears.
Any ideas??
