XJ front "frame" build

Pat said:
very nice! she is getting some serious bling now...

those air shocks cost me more than the initial price i paid for the baby XJ...

bling bling

in the mist of imagining things...it was determined that simple coil springs and regular shocks were going to add to much to the equation...so the air shocks are going to "simplify" things...yeah right...

oh yeah...a jack stand and block of wood are holding the motor up...

as far as that pic of the cab front..."that may" have something done with it in a future...good luck...the other reason that i'm building the current mess is that i have thousands and thousands of hours in this chasis between the rear cut and tube and the uniframe plating inside and out and bottom and in some places the top...otherwise it would be a buggy tube bending build...

mac 'now its about style...not when hillbillies have welders' gyvr

Can't help but notice the irony of a bunch of guys wanting to do something different while hanging out in an XJ only board.

:D

My very first Al Aly "at 14 years old" welds were better than that.

That is just unacceptable, Mac "settle for less" gyver.

well...i didn't weld the aluminum on that radiator...i bought it used for a good price. you should've seen the mounts that were on it...we cut them off with the plasma, and i'll clean it up to make it better...

and for the record, i've never welded aluminum before ever...so i don't know what extra it takes to make it look purdy...

mac 'never used a welder until i was about 20' gyvr

Ok, as long as you didn't pay full pop for it.

Really, it looks terrible.

no, i got a good price on it...

but the other thing is that we people in the midwest don't live to the high standards that you peps in the west live up too...

mac 'least I think you're from the west...otherwise i feel like a moron' gyvr
