1985 XJ buggy
250' 1.75" .120 HREW tubing in the frame/cage, Aluminum side panels.
Rear Suspension: Fox 2.0 Airshox, Custom dual-tri four link. Lowers are 1.75" .250 wall DOM with RE Joints, Uppers are 1.5" .250 wall DOM with 3/4" heims.
Front Suspension: Rusty's adjustable uppers and Teraflex long adjustable lowers, 4.5" springs.
D60 Lincoln locked rear, D30 front with Lock-Rite. Large U-joint style front axles from later-model XJ. Both 3.73 gears.
3.4L 60* V6 from 95 Camaro, 904 trans, 207 t-case (stock)
Double-cardan front driveshaft.
35" M/T Baja claws on black steelies. About 1/3 tread.
Asking $4500.
I would probably look to upgrade the front axle and do a gear swap if it was going to be run in rocks a lot, other than that, it works very well.
The hood does not go. My brother wants to keep it, since he did the art-work. It will have a regular black hood.
Only selling because I want to build a four-seater.
