Like I said in the previous post I'm all set, scored a decent-looking transmission off craigslist for $50. Seems to shift ok and spins fine in all gears, but I guess there's only one way to find out if it's good. If not it should be a great rebuild project. It's surprisingly small, and lighter than I thought. I'll try and document the swap in its own thread.
