My voltage regulator on my 92xj went out. I swapped my ecu from my 94xj into the 92 and it fixed my problem as a test. Looking for a 92 ecm but think a 93 or 94 will also do? Text 714-401-6079. Louie
Thanks, I went and bought it this morning and my jeep is up and running again. Turns out is was the exact part just 10 months newer, it even had the same part code.
Out of curiosity I removed some of the silicone on my old ecm and cleaned the board with alcohol and a Q-tip and now it works again. The silicone had tears in it so those were the areas I focused on and I guess moisture and dirt was shorting it out. I resealed it with GE 100% clear silicone.
