whos running 35s on 4.10 gears in a MANUAL???

my 99 2 door is a 5 spd and it has 35in maxxis bighorns it has an ax15 and 4.10 gears.

it pulls great it has good pick up and i have no complaints. its a beast.

i do 63mph @ 2000 rpm.

and get 15mpg

Go 4.88s
Ive run
32s with 4.10 Good range
33s with 4.10 didn't like it
this is all with an AX15
I get better gas milage with the 4.88s and 33s than I did with anything besides stock and 32/4.10 combo.

Agreed. I run 4.10's with 28's ( 4 cyl., AX5 ) and am happy with it. Rev's 3000 @ 70 which is fine.
You don't get better mileage by lugging the engine well under the power band and having to shift down at the slightest hill.
Our other Cherokee (Can't have just one . . . ) is a stock, for now, 4.0 w/auto and 3.55's and I can't imagine running anything over 30's without regearing.
