Whinning

ok so, I was drving my 89' MJ with the 4.0 and BA10/15 and it started making this pretty bad whinning noise. Its like a super charger whine. It sounds like its coming from the back of the engine or the frnt of the tranny. I speeds up with higher RPMs. Anyone have anyideas? and it is louders that the normal gear whinning that the tranny makes. It kinda gives a weird vibration also. Any ideas would be awesome.

Possibly the trans input shaft bearing? Not sure how the clutch release is set up on that model, but could possibly be the throwout bearing as well.
