When it rains...

I pulled the cap, started the Jeep and started dumping coolant in. It took about 1.25 gallons before the radiator was full. Then the system started bubbling a little. I let that go for a while then started revving the engine. As it revved, coolant sucked, then bubbled back up somewhat foamy when I let off.

After 12 minutes or so of this, the temp was still hovering around 180. Never got hot enough to even open the t-stat. When I have more time, I'll let it go longer, but I have to get to work on the Ford now...:D

I'll get some pictures for analysis later...;)

Newly added coolant. Does it look slightly brownish to anyone else? I don't know...

Temp gauge today after idling and being revved for 12 minutes

Click for video of it idling and revving. There's a metallic ring when I let go of the throttle. Can't really hear it til about 25 seconds in.
