My front right wheel is rubbing against a steering component.

Can somebody teach me how to re-adjust the steering stop screw?

You take the screw out and put washers under it and put it back in :) It's simple.....

Btw, don't go crazy from startpoint, but play with it and add to it gradually.... also bery likely you will find that one side will need a bit more then the other...

I am new to this stuff, bare with me.
Where is the steering screw located.

look on the knuckle (I think that's what's it's called) and there is on on each (one side limits right turning, one side limits left turning)......

They are kind of easy to spot when you get under the xj and look from teh front of the vehicle towards the axle and then along hte axle to each side.
