You're not alone. Apparently he didn't read the one requesting a Back Spacing (BS) measurement on the wheels.

And no where on the ad does it say the discos are 55 shipped. It just says "40 and 55", as if he has two sets for sale. It's probably just as well though, someone as ambiguous in description as this probably left out some other important piece of info too.
