wheel spacer question!!!!!!

i put 1.25 " wheel spacers on my jeep cherokee 2001 sport.
before , i was running 2" lift and 30x9.50 AT tires, felt the lift made it feel chopy and
seemed like the coil springs took bumps hard.

put on the tire spacers to move my tires out some for looks , and now the ride is smooth and hardly any cabin bumps? gave it a really nice ride?

my question is , would moving the tires out give a better ride?
thanks

it gives you a wider COG, not necessarily a smoother ride, maybe the wider geometry sent the vibrations in other directions, and to other places than usual, or maybe its all in your mind.... lol

you should have just gotten 3" or at max 2" backspaced wheels, would have given the same effect, and would have been more reliable.

if its mostly street, its all good though, enjoy the wider stance and better handling.

the smoother ride could just be that you springs and coils have settled and your shocks have broken in so everything is running top notch now
