What's your 20, pt2

Re: What's your 20?

By my count that makes 14 paid (red) members actually in Texas and a total of at least (from this thread) 17 paid members in or near Texas.

Sounds to me like we have the more than enough for the official body count!

Okay, here's a link to the Google Earth KMZ file I've created showing the locations of all members who've posted here. I'll keep it updated as new members post. I've also put together a list of potential meeting / wheeling locations.

Texas and LA Chapter Members - Locations
Texas / LA Wheeling Locations

FYI: You'll need Google Earth installed to use these. Download it at http://earth.google.com

Good job Kendrik. I really like the way thats set up. Had no idea I was this close to wear the originnal Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed.

Re: What's your 20?

There is now an official announcement page for this soon to be official chapter (how is that for positive thinking?) NAXJA chapter. It is at:

http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?p=243548069#post243548069

Please browse to that page/thread, DO NOT post to it, but instead subscribe to it so that you will get timely official chapter announcements by email about topics like pending meetings or votes in the chapter, etc.

Only a stones throw away

Re: What's your 20?

Ratherbcamping is down near you (relatively speaking) in Corpus Christi, but I don't know if is going to be active in the chapter. I Pm'd him yesterday and he was not aware of this new chapter forming either. I bought all his Renix Jeep parting-out inventory recently when he passed through Houston.

I guess Im the only sole way down here in Pharr Texas. Its about 60 miles west of Brownsville right on the river/border. Thanks Ecomike for the heads up. I usually skip right to the original or modified forums since, until now, there was no Tx/La chapter.

Re: What's your 20?

Google Earth updated. Again. Okay, from now on, just assume I'm updating when someone new posts. :)

Re: What's your 20?

Wow, that must be a record for us, 4 new (Paid up NAXJA) members added to the chapter in less than 24 hours!

I lost count, how many is that now?
