are all the hard brake lines the same size?

what type of flare on the end?

what thread size for the nuts?

also does anyone know if autozone/pepboys carry a fitting that would join two hard brake lines together (female female fitting) ? b/c the lines going from the master to the rear axle on my jeep are toast and i cannot find hard line that is that long in one shot.

Double flare should be 3\16 they make brake lines with fittings on them from 8 to 72 inch's you can buy a union to screw to lines together or get a compression fitting were you cut the line and use a compression fitting

If you've got ABS the connections into the ABS are metric "bubble flares". Takes a different tool. Also, the hard line to the rear brakes has a union on the firewall that also has a bubble flare on the downstream side. These comments apply to a 1997 model, which is what I redid.
