What I learned at Winterfest

1- The BOD makes it easier every year
2- a pop up camper is the best investment rew has ever made
3- when you see a line that no one else took, you should also avoid it.
4- when you know you are good and stuck you should stop trying.
5- when you bust a shaft in the mud, ice, and water it sucks
6- when your brother has swapped out his shaft like 10 in a year, he will handle it for you
7- when you have 20 guys waiting you feel a sense of urgency
8- when you get stuck again and then lost they may be annoyed but they don't kill you.
9- when wheeler has you by the balls because he owns a shaft that you need and he could charge you anything, he instead asks for nothing but a replacement.
10- multiple people will do what they can to help you in this club
11- your wife make take you bottle of whiskey to bed with her thinking that you will leave the party.
12- your wife will be wrong if there are awesome people who have your back and feed you beers
13- those people will not have your back at 5:30am when they see your wife stomping down the road with evil shooting from her eyes
14- you can magically disappear when your wife finds you at 5:30am
15- you can watch kman leave the park more than a half hour before you, stop for gas, and still pass him before you are half way home.



i want to use this post to send out a couple thanks

thanks to all those that got their hands dirty during my break down. i do not remember everyone but i know there was a bunch.
thanks to dan for giving me the shaft
thanks to rew for taking on the swap in the swamp
thanks to mark for winching me out, then pulling me out, then finding me and guiding me out.
thanks to mac for assisting in all those pulls.
thanks to scott for having all the right tools to make that job easier

you all rock IMO

its been well over a year since i wheeled and i was a lil rusty getting back in. lets hope the next run is better.

cant wait till next year.

I also highlighted what is sure to become a highly used quote in signatures around the MWC.

1. Some XJ and TJ parts are interchangable.
2. I should carry spare shafts.
3. Having 100 people walking through the trailer leaves a muddy trail.
4. Apple slices in Fireball is delicious.
5. Some Jeeps require instructions.
6. Some people drive 1000 miles hoping to catch a ride in Jeep at a quarry.
7. BLoose never has a screwdriver. And his wife has a sweet ride.
8. I talk way too much when I'm drunk.
9. Sitting next to BLoose at the raffle is a good thing.
10. NAXJA has great sponsors.

Yes we are true brothers even tho he looks more like brad. We even work together if you didnt know that either.

the scary part is we have a 3rd brother who also works with us and wheels an xj...

Was the pizza gone? I never even checked. I will have to host that backyard party I talked about as a thanks.

Wf is awesome.

I need to finish my jeep.

Sleeping on the floor of the rv isn't nearly as bad as it sounds, especially with a.heater at your feet and a good sleeping bag.

Showing up on Wednesday and helping the BOD throughout wf will kick your ass, therefore you will be sleeping while everyone else is out partying.

TAKE NAPS! See above.

The BOD and helpers put a ton of time, energy, and thought into making this event run as good as it does. It's hard work.

Separating raffle tickets sucks.

Barbie jeep races are fun, but hurt.

Cold showers suck.
Hot showers rule, especially when cold and drunk.

The human skull makes quite a loud noise when it hits a metal chair.

Wf fires are awesome, even if you don't show up till 1am.

The 6 hour ride home after staying up till 7am sucks.

Samset really likes Apple pie.
Samset knows too much about radio stations.

BMFL gives away raffle prizes.

Dan really likes yoga pants.
Dan giving drivers meeting speech while hungover is entertaining.

I helped build an awesome jeep. :D

The people in this chapter are some of the best, most genuine, and most caring people you will ever meet.

I learned that if you never make it to the campfire either night, you feel amazingly better the next morning and for the trip home. It was the best I have ever felt at WF. :D

My total beer consumption for all of WF.......drum roll please......12! Wheeler brought back a case for me and I never even got into it. I am slippin at my old age!

Your credit card will be block if u make a purchase from smash hole ... Then the lady laughed at me when I tried to explain it was car parts not porn! Lol
Don't try to turn around in a atv trail you might loose a roof rail
The wf raffle is awesome lots of cool stuff
My jeep needs to be bigger
I'm going back every year!

I laughed my ass off when I heard that. You're the only person we've had with that problem. I'm really surprised considering it was a PayPal transaction as well.

I always learn many things at WF

1: Front lockers are way better than front LSD
2: Yukon super joints will hold up in a 44 on 35's with a locker
3: MWC has the best bunch of guys and gals.
4: The campfire always kicks my ass
5: Having a large warm cabin starts a great party
6: MWC has the best bunch of guys and gals
7: WF is a ton of work but way worth it.
8: Even though WF is only $35 some people will still wait till the last min to register and then bitch about it after the event.
9: Some people will wait till the last min to register and then say darn I should have not waited so long. Then thank you for doing everything you could to hook them up.
10: MWC has the best bunch of guys and gals.....

1.I can wheel for a couple years and break 1 center cap but the weekend I buy 5 spares I will smash 3 out of 4 on the rig.
2. We are more prepared every year
3. A 10 year old girl can make it to the final 4 at a WF bonfire. (easier when sober)
4. If I had to I could do some serious shit with my trailer connected.
5. If I don't have to I can do some serious shit with my trailer connexted.
6. If there is a large puddle of blood coming from your tent people will just let you sleep in.
7. If there is a large puddle of blood coming from my tent my friends wont check on me.
8.Brad is not Rewsters brother but Sam is despite what your eyes tell you.
9.I like rocks Joe Rogan!
10. Coming a day earlier and wheeling on Sun was VERY nice.
11. I will always meet more awesome people at a WF.
12. You can really learn to like people you only see a few times or once a year.
13.IDK man but I learned it!
