What grease to use on slip joint on driveshaft?

My problem was actually resolved by using a lot of bearing grease in the slip joint. I had a packed of teh grease left over from a ZJ front axle shaft CV joint repack (bad boot). I tried that in it and it worked great. Hasn't clunked since.

As for it being hard to move, yes, it is supose to be that way.
