Yeah, I was having an issue with my XJs' shifting points, and "coming out of gear into neutral"... I cleaned all electrical connectors, and it seems to have cleared up, except for when I'm in OD and it doesn't downshift.

its your throttle position sensor. change it and your trans will shift like new. they go for around 40 bucks at autozone
