how wide of tires are you running? DIY beadlocks add a 1/2" of width. most guy to includ myself runn 8 wide rims on 12.5 tires

Newbie question time.
I've often wondered this.
WTF is an anti-coning ring and what does it do?

Friggin Noob!

It keeps it from coning duh. Prevents it from bending/flexing whenever you torque down the rings. It clamps on the tire and with nothing on the inside it will want to "cone". So its just another ring that sits there to keep it from happening and help keep the force on the tire.

I used 8oz of airsoft pellets in my 34s with weld ons, worked good.
