Weekend is over...what did you get done?

All of the Jeeps were home for the holidays at my house. Its rare that I get them in one place to get a pic. missing is the MJ and the JK

I'm jealous!

You and me both man.

Went in on Friday at 4:00 pm and got off at 5 am on Saturday. Then back in at 4 pm on Saturday until Midnight.

It's no bueno. I think with these extra hours, plus with all the OT i've put in since summer, it may be time to take a day or two to myself and relax.

4 XJs, an MJ, a JK, and an XK? Damn.

I thought I was hot s##t with an XJ, two MJs, an M54A2, and a parts XJ :laugh2:

Anyone remember Eagle? He had everyone beat. I wonder if he still has all those Jeeps. I'm Jeep poor... 97 xj, 94xj, 88 mj, and an 84 parts xj.

Yup, cutting grass requires moving a bunch of junk.

Two 93 XJs, a 98 XJ, 86 MJ, 88 parts MJ, 89 Parts XJ and a Pontiac.

I've recently sold all but the 93 XJs, the 98 and the parts MJ and it's still for sale.

I know he sold a grey one and a red one to two of my friends recently. The red one I have the back half for a trailer build and the front half is turning into a pretty awesome 44/60/4cyl/ax15 rock crawler, the grey one is being converted to a 4x4 DD I believe. Both owned by NAXJA members.

I'd sure like to see this 44/60/4cylinder build.

I couldn't imagine the gearing needed to make that 4 cylinder less gutless.

I can. I ran 5.38's with a 9" 44 combo and 36's. Remember the pinion I shot out the housing? It crawled fairly well IMHO.

That thing was a 4 banger?

You are correct. I got the 4.0 in and done for the 07 Crawl. So prior to that I ran the 9" D44 set up. But it worked well. I think it was more the IROK's and the low gearing though.

Installed a 4° shim to correct the pinion angle for my double-cardan rear shaft, installed a new hard line for the rear brakes, added a YJ rear brake hose (3-1/8" longer than a stock XJ hose), removed the rear sway bar and installed a new front pinion seal.

All I need for my rear axle swap is for my Amsoil guy to get me some severe gear and its on!

Went to see family at Lake Gaston, Fairfax VA, ran into nosigma in VA, got some chili I have been wanting for a year, came back to the lake and hauled butt around in the Audi, then saw the Acorn drop in Raleigh. Now it's time to get back to it.

look what I got today!!!!!

went and bought a d70 axle dissembled. I needed the 4.56 up carrier
it had 7.?? gears it was used in a flight truck a 6 BT cummins to pull planes around.
it was a hour drive and 75 miles but me and usermbmx "AJ" talked about jeep porn the whole way.
I needed the carrier out of it.
new open carrier with spiders is $350 just so i can weld it up kinda expensive but cheaper than a $700 spool.
so we drove to sailsbury to get it. I only paid $50 for it so it was a steal i saved $300 but wait there is more.
It had a weird limited slip with no clutch packs so I began looking online every carrier i found was a 2 piece with spiders mine had none then I found a pic of mine.......
It was a drop in detroit well they are $460 so I got a steal on this carrier

guess christmas came again for me I was excited so I thought I would share.

here is a teaser pic

There's less and less Jeep every time I see a picture of it lol.

Like the makeshift "garage" too lol. I need to get out that way again soon.
