Watchout for after-market radiator overflow bottle on pressurized systems

Heres a pic of the volvo cap

What do you think of this as a replacement tank? It's in a Ford Crown Vic or Town Car.

I can vouch that the one in my '99 CVic is VERY solid and has NEVER caused any problems. The cap is very robust. It's all made to survive in fleet cars with hard use.

I lowered my tank to keep it from hitting the hood. I thought i did a write up on here but if I didn't, I can!

I did that to my tank also. I just decided that my OEM style cap and clamp needed to go, so wanted to replace it with the Volvo one and wanted to make sure I wasn't getting a bad cap.

Kind of developed a reaction to some chemicals.

Please note how nicely trimmed they are.

I did notice the nicely trimmed nails.

BTW, thanks for the tip on the Volvo cap. I put one on each of my Jeeps.
