i need to put my mail box on something that isnt made of tin foil.

would prefer an old crankshaft out of a big diesel engine but i'm open to whatever comes along..

Ive got some 3 or 4 inch diameter x 3/16 wall posts that could be cut down to use as that. Let me know if you're interested.

Sounds like a job for half an axle housing with the shaft flipped over and welded to it.

Maybe a blown transmission, output up, with a driveshaft on top?

I've still been itching to make my little broken parts man. All I need is another arm and I'll have enough.

2 carriers stacked on top of each other for the body.

2 broken long d-30 shafts for the legs

4 broken stub shafts for the arms.

Ring gear for his head

spark plugs for his fingers.

Welding wire for hair...

Then just put a mail box on top of his head...
