Back up what you say. You think that 'an armed society is a polite society' is bullshit? Ok... why? I want to see some facts or evidence to back that up.

Of the firearm-related crimes committed in the past year, how many were with registered firearms? And of those, how many were registered to the criminal? Pretty low number there ain't it.
Now of all the violent crimes in the past year, how many could have been prevented had the victim been armed and trained on how to use it? Most, probably.

What do you mean "secure it" (in re. to the fully auto AK)? If you're talking about keeping it safe so that criminals couldn't get a hold of it... probably not. I could keep it in a gun safe, but there are ways into those. BUT, is it any less secure than something like a hunting rifle or a shotgun? Not at all. By that logic, nobody should own guns... now THAT'S bullshit.


And no, this isn't like saying every country in the world should have nukes. That's like saying every developed country in the world should have nukes. And although there are some considered "developed" that I wouldn't really be comfortable with having nuclear capability... MAD worked well enough.
