The Patriot Act has become a tool to expand intel gather on every US citizen who uses the internet and a cell phone.........what was a questionable violation of our 4th Amendment rights under Bush has become a full blown multi-agency operation under Obama.

The NSA has the ability to profile citizens based on their online activity and archive the data indefinitely.....uncomfortable yet?

Obama campaigned against similar actions as a senator and Presidential candidate......all lies.

President Obama is sure doing plenty of back pedaling this ATM trip to California. There was also some voice on my radio during the drive home tonight had an opinion the younger Americans are immune to this data mining having grown up in the technological age when most websites data mine you for direct retail commercial reasons. Yeah that may be fine and dandy but the government has nefarious reasons.

We the People at a crossroad.

We the People will either hold our elected officials accountable and require them to reinstate our Civil Rights, or We will continue to be complacent and let the Government machine roll forward on the Totalitarian path is on.

The Checks and Balances that our Founding Fathers put in place to safeguard the Constitution are being circumvented by "policy", Executive Order and Executive Priveledge.
We've been sold that the Patriot Act was for our own good and was the only way to protect us from the bad guys......and the last 4 terms of Presidential Administration have expolited the data and expanded parallel programs for their own political gain, at the expense of the privacy and civil rights of We the People.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
