Here's the course test. http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/downloadexamnotice.asp?eid=is907

MAIN POINTS OF THE "ACTIVE SHOOTER" TRAINING COURSE
Evacuate: If there is an accessible escape path, attempt to evacuate the premises.
Hide out: If evacuation is not possible, find a place to hide where the active shooter is less likely to find
you.
Take action: As a last resort, and only when your life is in imminent danger, attempt to disrupt and/or
incapacitate the active shooter.

The Obama Admin sells guns to the Mexican drug cartel under Operation Fast and Furious, of which they denied.......now they are training our US Border Agents to run away when confronted by an armed bad guy.......what a bunch of spineless wusses. They have no problem adding risk to the already risky job of law enforcement, but the direct them to not do the job they are hired to do, to protect the good guys (including themselves) from bad guys.

Surreal.........

What is happening to our country?

We are being overthrown from within. Our Founding Fathers warned us of this, because they studied history and understood human nature. Our complacency has allowed this to take occur.

Man's history repeatedly documents nations rising to great power and wealth, and yet they collapse and disappear in a similar time frame. Our Founding Fathers warned of the dangers of wealth and gradualism.

By 1775, the British had established high taxation, centralized control and regulation, and search and seizure in America. In 2012, America finds itself under the same governmental system.

In the Presidential Address to the First U.S. Congress, the Second Session, President Washington declared:

"...when firearms go, all goes...we need them every hour... Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens firearms are indelibly related... The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference... they deserve a place of honor with all that's good...From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to ensure peace, security, and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable ..."

This quote also comes to mind.....

"Freedom is not empowerment. Empowerment is what the Serbs have in Bosnia. Anybody can grab a gun and be empowered. It's not entitlement. An entitlement is what people on welfare get, and how free are they? It's not an endlessly expanding list of rights -- the `right' to
education, the `'right' to health care, the `right' to food and housing. That's not freedom, that's dependency. Those aren't rights, those are the rations of slavery -- hay and a barn for human cattle. There's only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences."

You can't have a rational discussion about any "right" without including the concurrent "responsibility".
What is happening to our country?
Too many people ignoring the responsibility that goes along with freedom.

I taught my kids this at age 5...... if you want good consequences, then you must make good choices.

Sounds like more of the "hope and change" the dork in the Whitehouse and his minions have been promising us.
