Ultimate XJ Cooling System

Lol I see, I think you should go tell pirate how much you know more than them because you're paid to.

That oughta go over like a white dude on E.38th street in Indy at night! :roflmao:

I didn't insult anyone or say anything about what I get paid to know in my original thread.... I was just sharing some of my tech which I greatly regret doing now. And if gangin up makes you feel ritous then by all means have at it. I am not even slightly upset I can assure you. Monday morning I'm still gonna be at my front counter selling Jeep parts and service and you guys will be back at your day jobs.....

I can assure you I won't be posting again......

And by the way, this isn't Pirate... this is much pettier than Pirate. And this is supposed to be a "paid members owners club" not a forum for you guys to bash people offering info.....

If any moderator would like to delete this I would appreciate it.......

Scroll down to the bottom of the mod-tech page. Look at the list of mods. :skull1:

You showed your ass starting in post #6 of this thread. You have no one to blame but yourself for the direction the thread took.

Dude, coming from a place of compassion, let me say this:
Your over reaction to Diesel's post was insulting, condescending and arrogant. You might be happier if you tried to reign in these defects of character. Just sayin'.

And in case you didn't know, we have summer in Gawdamn Yankeeland too. It's not 115 with 150% for 3 months, but the Jeep doesn't care what the weather was yesterday, or tomorrow; running warm is running warm, whether it's too warm for OE specs, or just warmer than you want it.

Still curious about the particulars, but I could do without the "you yankees don't have summer" crap.

Oh, and what does that DIF controller run, cost wise? I'd like to get both fans on a controller at some point, if I can make it work with the stock control. Is it a "ramp up" controller, or just "off/on"?

Cool, well put together write up... But seriously man, we aren't here to attack you.

Give advice [x]
Flipping out [x]
move on []

Electric cooling fan 4.0L: With or without A/C request the electric fan will come on only when the coolant temperature is at least 106°C (223°F) , and will remain on until the coolant temperature drops to 103°C (217°F) or below. Regardless of coolant temperature, when air conditioning system pressures reach 2068.5 ±138 kPa (300 ±20 psi) the electric fan will engage and continue to run until the A/C system pressure drops to 1620.3 kPa (235 psi) minimum, then the electric fan will shut off.

Funny. My A/C system is completely discharged and my fan still comes on as soon as I turn on my A/C switch. I guess my XJ doesn't know that you are paid to know more than it does about its own operation.

Remember, I do this for a living and I actually get paid for my Jeep knowledge everyday...... It's not just a "Hobby" for me like it is for you..... I get paid to be correct about Jeeps.....
I don't get paid to give people jeep info and help every day, and I still do. I have been since before you showed up here and started acting arrogant and I will likely still be here afterwards, since it seems you are storming off in a huff now. People usually take my advice, because I'm not a dick about it... and if I am wrong, I accept that fact, admit to it, and move on.

I was impressed with how quickly you signed up to be a member here, but then I realized almost all your posts were thinly disguised advertising for your company and how much you know about jeeps, as a pro of course, being paid to be right about jeeps. Hell, your signature was blatantly against the rules, advertising a commercial entity without being a vendor.

I did not report it as I do not like throwing the first punch unless I have a damn good reason... well, too late now, clearly, but this thread is a pretty good reason.

Couldn't agree more. I would not buy from your shop even if you did become a vendor at this point.

I have learned something by helping people with jeeps - I AM NOT ALWAYS RIGHT :shocked: I know, right?

Around the time you start thinking you are right all the time, is usually around the time you end up being wrong and not being able to handle it. Assume you might be wrong, calm down a bit, and things go much easier... I am generally wrong, sometimes blatantly so, on a daily basis.

I don't get paid to give advice but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express...

Just sayin' :wave1:

If your a Fab shop.. Why in the world did you spend so much on JCR stuff?

What is YOUR definition of Fab anyway?

Fab = powder coat things to match the jeep, bolt them on

EDIT: sorry, that is advanced fab. I am not sure what fab is
