Transfer case options???????

I ran the NV241OR in my 97. Bolted right up. Then (about 6 years ago) it was cost effective over building the 231. By the time you get a wide chain and a 4:1 low range the cost was within striking range of the 241. I got mine from JB Conversions, they are getting $1650 for a new 241OR as of this morning's cvheck.

231 Wide chain kit $425
231 TeraLow kit (approx) $1200
Total $1625

And what you wind up with is a weaker TC due to the size of the 4:1 planetary.

Just my .02. And no, I am not a JB employee. In fact, last thime I looked, they were askin $2300 for the 241... Must be on sale.

Got my used NV214OR about 6months ago for $900, defiantly a better option then building the 231, 231 will cost more and still not have the strength

Advanced Adapters sells something similar to the Klune-V.
Their RubiCrawler box. I have no experiance with this product
but I have read reviews that liked the product.

I think price is on par with Klune.

When I priced a Klune last year I believe it was in the neighborhood of $1500.

I wouldn't feel too good having a Klune feeding into a 231.

Pretty sure Advance says they've tested the Altas 2-speeed flat towing for 250 miles or so, and at that point recommend driving it a bit, but the 4-speed should have the drivelines removed.

I say Atlas 2-speed 4.3:1 32 spline outputs XJ shifters 3/4" mounting spacer.
