I know for a fact that ocotillo plant thorns are about that long and will absotutely slash your sidewalls right open.

There's a ton of them out there lining the edge of the trails.

Yep, those look close enough. We got caught down a steep canyon/trail that got very tight. Factory installed air was released multiple times.
