All done, including the "GoJeep home alignment." I took it for a test drive around a few blocks and on the freeway up to 65--no problems. Of course, I'll get the alignment checked at a shop soon. PB Blaster and heat, heat, heat did it. I made sure not to let anything get red hot, and used a 12" monkey wrench with the old tie rod end in my bench vise. The initial turn took quite a bit of force. I weigh just under 210 lbs. and I was practically off the ground for that first turn on each end. It's unbelievable how tight they were. Maybe if I'd had a longer monkey wrench it wouldn't have taken so much, but it's done.
EDIT:Actually, I shouldn't have said it's totally done. I still didn't get around to the rod end that connects from the adjuster sleeve to the Pitman arm, but for some reason, I don't see that one being too difficult.
