Just asking, cause we left after he went for his nap into the trailer and seeing him all slumped over the handlebars, all comfy, ready for another nap.Lol.:dunno:

That was a great weekend. Big thanks to Richard for putting it together and to David for the marinated chicken and spoon bread, it was delicious and worth the effort you made to get it out there and cook it all up. Thank you Scott for letting me ride along and spot the first part of Claw Hammer. That is a very nice rig you picked up and you drove it well, no dents or scratches except to the armor. Just how it should be.

Cal I really appreciate your letting me drive the bird up the last 2/3rds of claw, the lessons on high speed desert driving and winching. That is great old rig, touching some XJ history there.

I was warned by a Northern Virginia Jeepers Association member (my home club) to stay away from the BSC guys (nationwide reputation). All I saw on Friday night was a quiet marshmellow roast and some airsoft target practice (ouch). Saturday was little rowdier, probably because BSC ran out of marshmellows.

Good to see everyone again (Avery, Josh, Cal, Richard, Matt) and it was a lot of fun to meet a low of new faces.

When I land tonight I will post up some pics.

Glad you had a good time, Thanks for providing us some entertainment to make the marshmallow roast a little more exciting

Oh yeah, and thanks to the ice cream guy driving a van through the desert. An ice cream bar in the mniddle of nowhere is pretty hard to beat....and it still only places just out of the top three for the weekend. :D

I learned that BSC stood for Brown Sarge Crew :spin1:

scottmcneal: The rental was a lot cleaner when I turned it in than when I got it. No problems there at all.

Your a great bunch to hang out with. Thanks for letting me stick around for the weekend.

The bunny run left us behind while we were getting a bike unstuck. Then we played catch-up for a while. We went left (instead of right) after the lake bed, crawled through a bit of this before deciding the bunny run didn't come this way:

Slipped on those rocks a bit and took off about a cell-phone sized piece of plastic skid plate on the underside.
Turned around and went the other way. Found lots of fresh tracks and followed those. Gave up when we got hungry so we stopped for lunch.

The best action photo Ive found so far, no problems at all on the sand:

Thanks for hosting the event. We had alot of fun. The chicken hot dog dinner was really tasty

I'll post a longer message later tonight, I hope. Currently in Lost Wages, trying to do nothing.

Yes, there is a pic of Ben and Sarge. Or is it Sarge and Ben? Or is it really Sarge doing Ben?

The "chicken hot dog" dinner are called Spiedies. Very local to upstate New York marinade. Very glad folks enjoyed it.
