The 4.0 requires a 195* thermostat so I guess it would depend on where you take the temp reading. If you are going off the gauge then go with what GrimmJeeper said. Mine cycles from 195 to 210 regularly and the wife's will stay right at 210 unless it's above 95 outside then it will run about 220.
Thanks, for the information. It has been running at about 180` to 185`. If it gets above 95` air temp. the water temp. will get to about 210-215. going up hill, so I guess I do not have a cooling problem. I 'am just to used to cooler running engines.
